Site Supervisor (Penang Malaysia)

The Site Supervisor shall be in charge of supervising the workers & subcons and managing the project to completion accordingly to project schedule, including arranging & coordinating of site work, resolving of operational issues and liaising with clients, subcon, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Job description:

• Keep track of the proceedings of all stages in the building process.

• Coordinate the different teams, assign tasks, and resolve problems.

• Supervise workers and ensure workers complete tasks in accordance to safe work procedures and protocols.

• Plan and execute work according to project schedule to ensure timely completion.

• Resolve operational issues and report work progress to project coordinators and engineers.

• Ensure workers follow safe working protocols according to regulations.

• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience as Site Supervisor in Construction site, preferably with Semiconductors/Pharmaceutical industry exposure.

• Minimum SPM qualification.

• Prefer to have experience supervising a team of workers for M&E pipefitting or CSA projects.

• Must have valid CIDB SICW/e-SICW qualification.

• Good working knowledge of construction industry.

• Knowledgeable in Pipefitting, Tool Hook-up systems and Double Containment systems or CSA projects.

• Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills.

• Good communication skills.

• Both a team player and the ability to work independently.

Project Manager (Penang Malaysia)

The Project Manager shall be in charge of leading the project team and managing the project to completion accordingly to project schedule, including resolving of operational issues and liaising with clients, subcon, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Job description:

• Prepare Project schedule, forecasting engineering activities and procurement of materials required for project to ensure timely completion of project.

• Oversee project team and appraise their performance and ensure project are completed according to project schedule.

• Assigned tasks and dead line, Conflict management, problem solving, prioritising, resources allocation and decision making 

• Oversee the overall planning of M&E works, site inspection, variation order and certification of work done for all assigned projects.

• Prepare and monitor project budgets to control cost and kept to clients’ budget requirements and ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.

• Monitor the work progress of engineers, coordinators and sub-contractors and ensure M&E works are in compliance to the Company’s and authorities’ requirements and schedule.

• Plan and oversee testing, commissioning of the systems and activities, provide advice and decision on all project related matters such as reviewing of project related drawings and other materials prepared by the Engineers and Coordinators to ensure there is no discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements.

• Provide technical write up before submitting for tender submissions.

• Review quotations and discount for approval by management for tender submission.

• Oversee the invitation of sub-contractors for tenders.

• Escalation of project matters and concerns to management team.

• Monitor the project safety (EHS matter) & QMS (Quality Management), make precise decision to stop, enhance or move forward whenever necessary.

• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as CM or PM in Construction industry, preferably with Semiconductors/Pharmaceutical industry exposure.

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years relevant experience.

•  Must have valid CIDB SICW/e-SICW qualification as either Site Supervisor or Construction Manager.

•  Proficient in MS Office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

• Prefer to have clean room construction experience but not a must.

Project Engineer (Penang Malaysia)

Job description:

• Assist in preparing the engineering drawings, datasheets and reports such as piping layout design, pipeline stress analysis report, MTO and datasheets.

• Administer transmittal documents, controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored and hard copy project documentation.

Requirements:

Job description:

• Perform regular inspections pertaining to Welding and Pipefitting projects.
• Ensure progress of works is in accordance to stipulated scope of works and time schedule.
• Report outcomes and findings of all inspection works to Project Team on a regular basis to keep them updated on all quality checks and project progress.
• Provide advice and exercise any/all correction actions for any faults or issues discovered at site.

Requirements:

Job description:

• Produce and prepare technical drawings such as detailed shop drawings, fabricate drawings and as-built drawings as per contract specifications.
• Coordinate, review and verify drawings including owner & subcontractor’s drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
• Update and comply with the code of practice on electrical, mechanical as required.
• Attend meetings with our project team, clients, and subcontractors for project related matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering related discipline or QA/QC certifications such as TWI or ASNT certificates as Welding Inspector.

• Minimum 3 years relevant hands-on experience in M&E projects for Semicon industry working for subcontracting firm or main-con.
• Experienced in 2D & 3D Autocad & BIM drawings for M&E, CSA, piping and Fire Protection systems.

Job description:

• Responsible in supporting all Electrical engineering works for the projects.
• Prepare scope of work, sub contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up for Electrical works.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets for Electrical works including equipment selection, etc.
• Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project.
• Develop Electrical works’ project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses.
• Perform Testing & Commissioning works.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Construction project management for M&E projects.
• Must have at least a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with Design and Build knowledge; able to conduct Engineering Calculation.
• Excellent understanding of commercial Mechanical & Electrical systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in construction policies and procedures, with field experience a must.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and experience in using ACAD and BIM a plus.

Job description:

• Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure safe work practices are carried out accordingly.
• Liaise with client/main contractor on all site safety matters.
• Assist the Project Manager in all aspect of project and attend site meetings.
