Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job description:

  • Monitor and inspect Electrical & Instrumentation installation systems for projects.
  • Prepare scope of work, sub contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up.
  • Review Electrical and Instrument method statement for construction activities and Safe Work Procedure for operational plant & Construction site
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation i.e. Control System Architecture diagram, Process control Philosophy and P&IDs
  • Responsible for Electrical & Instrument System interfaces with the operational plant, meetings, technical clarifications, etc
  • Review all relevant checklist for Inspection and Testing Plan on Electrical & Instrument System Installation.
  • Ensure project meets International and Local code requirements.
  • Perform Testing & Commissioning works.
  • Provide specific expertise for problem solving of Electrical & Instrumentation issues.
  • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
  • Minimum 5 years’ field experience in Construction project management for E&I projects.
  • Knowledgeable in construction policies and procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial E&I systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experience in using ACAD and BIM a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, meticulous and able to coordinate several activities simultaneously
  • Highly motivated individuals with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Project / Piping Engineer

Job description:

  • Prepare scope of work, sub contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up.
  • Responsible for preparation of process design and costing (CAPEX & OPEX), technical proposal c/w PFD, P&ID, Functional description, Technical specifications and related documents.
  • Review method statement for construction activities and Safe Work Procedure for operational plant & Construction site
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation i.e. process design & calculation and sequence of operation.
  • Ensure project meets International and Local code requirements.
  • Perform Testing & Commissioning works.
  • Provide specific expertise for problem solving of design issues.
  • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years’ field experience in Water & Waste Water Treatment plant process design and commissioning.
  • Strong technical knowledge (i.e Process Design and Calculation) in Membrane (MF/UF/RO/MBR), Ion Exchange (2B3T, MB, CPU, EDI) and pre-treatment processes (coagulation / flocculation sedimentation, clarification, filtration)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with experience in AutoCad an advantage.

M&E Quantity Surveyor

Job description:

  • Prepare Tender estimation, submission, progress payment, VO & finalization of accounts.
  • Perform risk and value management, and cost controls.
  • Provide Bill of Quantity calculation, monitoring and responsible for all cost estimate, budgetary, cost contract purchase and handling of material from post-contract cost control to final account.
  • Review M&E drawings and check drawing for discrepancies.
  • Coordinate works with contractors, clients and consultants to ensure all construction progress as scheduled including site visits.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering or other relevant qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years’ field experience in Singapore, preferably M&E services in Construction industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Able to read & interpret project specifications/drawings
  • Experience and knowledge of M&E services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and communication skills.

Designer Draftsman

Job description:

  • To interpret site survey data, drawings and specifications to produce and prepare technical drawings such as detailed shop drawings, fabricate drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Review and verify drawings including subcontractor’s drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
  • To coordinate with the engineers, clients, subcontractors and other engineering staff to ensure the drawings are submitted on time.
  • Update and comply with the code of practice on electrical, mechanical as required.
  • To attend meetings with our project team, clients, and subcontractors for project related matters.
  • To coordinate with other departments to ensure drawings are in accordance to contract specifications and submitted timely.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years’ relevant hands-on experience in M&E projects for Semicon industry working for subcontracting firm.
  • At least a Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering or other relevant qualifications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (minimum 6 years’ working experience) for drafting 3D drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, Fire Protection systems and Piping works.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Architecture/Interior Design, and/or Mechanical & Electrical Design.
  • Must be able to read & understand engineering documents and translate the relevant specifications into the computer-aided software to produce the relevant drawings.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and both independently and in a team.

Architectural Coordinator

Job description:

  • Organize, deliver and record architectural coordinated design, progress of work, variation order and certification of work done for assigned project.
  • Responsible in overseeing the overall site progress to ensure architectural works of the project team and sub-contractors are in compliance to the defined standards.
  • Liaise with project team on all the architectural coordination shop drawings.
  • Responsible on the material submission for architectural and owner’s approval.
  • Plan and advise the construction foreman on architectural sequencing and arrangement of work.
  • Provide regular reports to the Project manager on the progress of architectural works in assigned projects.
  • Liaise with PM on the CONQUAS/QM assessment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Architecture or its equivalent.
  • Have knowledge in BIM/CAD/Revit.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Architectural coordination and in Renovation Contractor firms in Singapore.
  • Independent, meticulous and with good organizational skills.
